For generations, Lafayette Federated Church has been known for its outstanding music program. We believe that through singing and praise we amplify God’s Word as it is proclaimed in worship each week. Music at LFC expresses our joy in God's love, enhances worship, enriches church members young and old, and serves as an inspiring vehicle for community outreach.
	Music is one of the best communicators of God's love, both for those presenting it and those hearing it. Music can bring people together, music also has a unique ability to stir people at an emotional level, from the highest joys to the deepest searches of the heart. Although worship is more than an emotional experience, music can allow people to more freely worship God and allows individuals to use the talents that God has given them Lafayette Federated Church of maintains a strong music program, with a full-time organist and Senior choir, Worship Team and Hand bells also ring for our service on many Sundays and for special occasions.
