Our VisionAbove all, our dream is to be a thankful people whose greatest delight is knowing and worshiping God who first loved us. We long to increase God’s praise by bringing others into the light of His majesty.
Our desire is to be a people who unite on Sunday mornings to offer heartfelt worship to God because we are enthralled by His glorious person and marvelous deeds on our behalf in Jesus Christ.
Our dream is to be a holy community living in the Holy Spirit’s power, led by Scripture, maturing in love, joyful in hope, constant in prayer, sacrificial in giving, patient in affliction, and quick to forgive.
Our goal is to see every believer thoroughly equipped for ministry and flourishing in service to others.
Our dream is to have a family-based children’s and youth ministry that results in young people choosing to love, worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ enthusiastically.
Our dream is to be a people that genuinely care for those who do not yet know the transforming power and grace of God. We invite all to enter the kingdom of God by turning from sin and following Jesus Christ. With joy we proclaim the gospel both locally and around the world through our global mission endeavors. The gospel conveys God’s love for the whole person encompassing spiritual, physical, social, intellectual and emotional needs.
Our purpose is to have an improving effect on the quality of life in Sussex County and beyond – its families, churches, schools, businesses, economy and laws – as each Christian exemplifies the life of Christ in the place God calls us to serve. We dream of being a people who have a high regard for the infinite worth of every person, making special effort to care for the poor, elderly, sick, unborn, unemployed, handicapped, overlooked and outcast. |
