Pastors and Staff

Aaron Robb, Senior Pastor

Aaron has served as the Senior Pastor of Lafayette Federated Church since January 2013. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dana, since 1995. Aaron and Dana have three children–triplets–named Katie, Kelsie, and Caleb. Aaron has served the local church since his first position as Youth and Music minister when he was 18, and has been a senior pastor since 1999. Dana serves faithfully alongside Aaron, and particularly enjoys women’s and children’s ministry, counseling and encouraging women, and hospitality. She has worked as a medical social worker and has degrees in both psychology and sociology.

Aaron graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southwest Baptist University where he received a B.A. in Christian Ministries and a minor in Communications. Aaron also earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received the LifeWay Pastoral Leadership Award for his graduating class based on excellence in academics while serving as a pastor in a local church setting. Before coming to LFC, Aaron has served churches in Missouri and Kentucky.

Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and family, reading, playing basketball, and watching college sports–especially the University of Louisville Cardinals. His greatest joy as a pastor is spending time in God’s Word, having the privilege of preaching God’s Word, and seeing the power of God’s Word change lives

Ryan Drew, Pastor of Students

Pastor Ryan “came home” to LFC on April 1, 2009. Having grown up at LFC, he sees the opportunity to serve here in ministry as a blessing and an opportunity to pour back into the church that had a profound impact on his life.

In 2001 he graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education. Since then, Pastor Ryan has served in two other churches. He has had the privilege of seeing many junior high and high school students transformed by the power of the Gospel and establish their spiritual identity in Christ that will carry them into adulthood.

In July of 2000, Pastor Ryan married his wonderful wife Kimberly. They met while at Taylor and she shares his same passion for youth ministry. Ryan and Kimberly are blessed to have four children, Abigail, Jayden, Cooper, and Elizabeth.

His interests are playing a wide variety of sports including golf, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball. Other interests are eating really good food, playing the guitar, and playing with his kids.

Glenn Cohrs, Pastor of Administration and Family Ministries

Glenn has been an Elder at Lafayette Federated Church since 2007. In 2010, after finishing a 26 year career in law enforcement, he was asked to serve on staff as the Administrator/Director of Family Ministries. In February of 2016, Glenn assumed the role of Pastor of Administration and Family Ministries. Glenn married his high school sweetheart, Diane, in 1989. They have been blessed with four sons, James, Michael, Matthew, and Jonathan. Diane also has a heart for ministry and serves in the music ministry, Vacation Bible School, and other children’s ministries.

Glenn has a degree in criminal justice from County College of Morris and bachelors degree in Biblical studies from Newburgh Bible College. Glenn is now pursuing a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministries from Colorado Theological.

Glenn enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing and going to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Glenn enjoys assisting with the various children’s programs (especially VBS), teaching an adult Sunday School Class, Men’s Bible Study and especially the times he gets the privilege to preach.

Greg Gaffney, Pastor of Worship and Music

Greg has served as LFC’s Interim Director of Worship/Pastor of Worship and Music since January 2016. Greg is also the Executive Director of PowerSurge Worship Ministries, a member of the Sonrise Mountain Revival, a bluegrass gospel group, and serves with Veritas Christian Academy as Athletic Director and Director of  Music.

Greg previously served for ten years on the faculty of Moody Bible Institute, three years as Pastor of Worship and Administration at Des Plaines Bible Church in Illinois and nine years as Associate Pastor at Grace Bible Chapel in Chester, NJ.

He has been privileged to travel around the world working with missionaries and churches using athletics and music as platforms for evangelism. These experiences have helped create a passion in him which led to his joining with a group of men and women to first pray for direction and then to found PowerSurge Worship Ministries.

Greg has a degree in Music Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Advanced Studies Program certification from Moody Bible Institute and was ordained by the Des Plaines Bible Church in 1995. His past pastoral duties have been focused primarily on worship, youth, evangelism, sports ministry and missions.

Greg and his wife Kathy and four children, Grant, Kaitlyn, Kristin, and Garrett.

Brian Ingraham, Pastor of Kingdom Expansion Ministries

Brian joined the LFC team in March of 2017.  He has been involved in church ministry for the past 15 years, and has a passion to see the church engage our communities with the good news of the gospel.  He has started numerous ministry initiatives to help the church connect with the community, most notably a home repair ministry which mobilized over 20 churches to serve together.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Brian then attended Cairn University in Philadelphia where he met his beautiful wife, Bonnie.  They married in 2000 and have 5 children: Aiden, Savannah, Ellie, Leah and Silas.  Brian’s happy place is hanging out with his family, playing board/card games, watching sports, and going to the beach.  He and his family are so grateful for the opportunity to serve at LFC.

His role as Pastor of Kingdom Expansion Ministries allows him to combine his relational skills with his ability to develop effective ministry teams, in order to reach people with the gospel.  Brian’s prayer is that Sussex County would experience true community transformation as the body of Christ meets tangible needs and points people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus.

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.–

After graduating from Berkeley College in New York City, Olga assisted executives in the financial/insurance industry for twenty years.  She now enjoys providing administrative support to the pastoral staff and the congregation.   Her life verse, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, has always encouraged her to serve the Lord with determination and enthusiasm.

Turid Jakobsen, Financial Secretary

Turid began working at Lafayette Federated Church in 1993.  She takes care of all the bookkeeping work along with Children’s Ministries and anything else that needs to be done.

She was born and grew up in Brooklyn, New York, attending the 59th Street Lutheran Brethren Church until moving to Stillwater, NJ in 1990.  Turid is married to Knut and they have 4 children; Peter, Cory, Julie and Kristie and have been blessed with 5 grandchildren, Luke, Brady, Hanna, Emma and Lily.
